About Locus Valuations
Locus Valuations is an independent forensic accounting and valuation practice based in Sydney. We combine over 35 years’ experience in accountancy and tax with 25 years specialising in forensic assignments. Our work is grounded in integrity, quality and trust, with clear, defensible reports that often help parties reach resolution of their dispute without the need – or cost – of a trial or hearing.
Our Purpose
We provide objective, evidence-based opinions in relation to complex forensic accounting and valuation issues to assist parties in dispute and, where applicable, their legal teams and the courts, so that informed decisions can be made.

How we work
- Independence first: Our approach is evidence-based and our conclusions are formulated independently, in accordance with the professional codes of conduct of CA ANZ and the courts.
- Methodical and transparent: Once the scope of an assignment is agreed, we have regard to any instructed assumptions, review and analyse the evidentiary material, apply accepted valuation and forensic methods and review our findings for reasonableness.
- Clear communication: We present the information that we rely upon, our analysis and conclusions in reports that are designed to be well structured, easy to read and navigate.
Engagement Policy
For litigated matters, we accept engagements only where the party or parties are represented by a suitable lawyer. We do not accept instructions from self‑represented litigants. All enquiries and materials are treated confidentially.
Meet the Managing Director
Jennifer Exner is an experienced expert witness, who has gained preeminence in forensic accounting and valuation over the last 35 years. She is respected by colleagues and has a reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability and technical excellence.
